There was an article on FR about the Al Najaf (sp?) mosque bombing - the preacher (or mullah or whatever his title was) that the bombers targeted - and killed - was preaching peace, and they didn't like that. If anyone knows more about this, maybe add or link it?

After the An Najaf bombing, Iraqis are associating foreign Arabs with al Qaeda jehadis.

This seems like the Najaf bombing's silver lining. It helps align the concerns of the Iraqis with our own. It gives us a common enemy.
