Paul Hill is our modern John Brown. Reading the description of he and Brown's personality, they seem remarkably similar people. The difference here is that few people have memorialized the acts of Hill, which is a good thing.
Our abhorrence of abortion is equalled by our abhorrence of Mr. Hill's cold blooded murder of another human being. His arrogance and refusal to allow God to take care of vengeance. He's saved few lives through this act, much more through sidewalk counselling than through murder. He is no hero, he is a fool, and a radical.
I will take my pro-life views and experiences against anyone elses. I've spent hours on the picket line, I've voted pro-life, worked for pro-life candidates, but I roundly and totally condemn the actions of this man.
wow. a well-written article in the Clarion-Ledger. You don't see these too often.
After the wave of national publicity, Schneider warned Hill he would be excommunicated from the church
Has anyone ever heard of someone being "excommunicated" from a Presbyterian Church? I sure haven't.
Paul Hill set himself up above the God ordained authorities--who alone "carry the sword."
May God have mercy upon his soul tonight.
