Actress Linda Hamilton denied that the fondling incident ever happened. I cannot say for the other women.

Actress Linda Hamilton denied that the fondling incident ever happened. Well, part of the allegation is she was having an affair with Cameron at the time, so it wouldn't be surprising that she deny this allegation.

I don't know. Is this suppposed to help Arnold, or not? Seems pretty ambiguous....
And in California, that is taken to be a virtue in some quarters.

This article has been pretty comprehensively and convincingly rebutted -- by most of the people it actually names.
Having said that, we are talking about Arnold and Hollywood, so I am sure that he has not been a pious milquetoast all these years. His article in "Oui", which I remember reading when it came out, proves that much at least.

The steroid thing is interesting. It is of course unrealistic to expect Arnold to attain the level of muscle mass (and more importantly body fat percentage) without a significant amount of steroids. Nevertheless, it is clear that Arnold did not (and does not) use the dosages and variety of today's bodybuilders. Arnold looked great; modern bodybuilders look like freaks. Many of them will not even live to Arnold's current age.

Speaking of steroids: Arnold is on record as saying that he discontinued his steroid use before the 80's.
If you look at the Conan photos, you can see that this claim is patently false. If anything, he was using MORE steroids in the 80's. It is easy to see.
I wonder why he made this claim about his drug use ending in the 70's. It could come back to haunt him, although once he attained a level of wealth and fame, he was probably VERY discreet, and thus feels safe in his assertions.
The press has not raised the issue since they know little about steroid use and effects.

Good Lord. I read both the articles. I really don't care what he did when he was a wild and crazy bachelor, but that Premiere story makes Arnold sound like Bill Clinton.
I was expecting mudslinging, but this is pretty bad.

but that Premiere story makes Arnold sound like Bill Clinton. Well, they have similar politics. And Arnie said he was ashamed to be a Republican because of Slick's impeachment.

That is a very good point. Most journalists have no idea what some world-class athletes do to themselves. From the look of Arnold in movies like Commando and T2 (I haven't seen T3) I'd be surprised if Arnold didn't include some the steroid usage as a "preparation" for the big screen, though certainly not at the levels of his pro bodybuilding career. His body fat levels were very low, which is very difficult to attain on a 210-220 pound frame.
