Speaking of steroids: Arnold is on record as saying that he discontinued his steroid use before the 80's.

If you look at the Conan photos, you can see that this claim is patently false. If anything, he was using MORE steroids in the 80's. It is easy to see.

I wonder why he made this claim about his drug use ending in the 70's. It could come back to haunt him, although once he attained a level of wealth and fame, he was probably VERY discreet, and thus feels safe in his assertions.

The press has not raised the issue since they know little about steroid use and effects.

Think we could see some "roid rage" come into play should he come under fire during the debates?

That is a very good point. Most journalists have no idea what some world-class athletes do to themselves. From the look of Arnold in movies like Commando and T2 (I haven't seen T3) I'd be surprised if Arnold didn't include some the steroid usage as a "preparation" for the big screen, though certainly not at the levels of his pro bodybuilding career. His body fat levels were very low, which is very difficult to attain on a 210-220 pound frame.
