Any school, public or private, should be seen as ancillary to the family

Believe it or not, that held sway until Dewey.

You're about 80 years behind the revoltin' developments in Public Screwels.

BE--see post #59. Perhaps you should saddle up and learn a bit of Oregon law.

The "couple" really don't care about "their" daughter. The girl is merely a prop for their political in-your-face agenda.

What I don't understand is why these two lesbians would want their daughter to go to a school where she will be correctly taught that homosexual practice is an abomination to God.

Posts 4 and 21 have the answer to your question.

Pray.

Prayer to St. Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church

O glorious St. Joseph, you were chosen by God to be the reputed father of Jesus, the most pure Spouse of Mary, ever Virgin, and the Head of the Holy Family. You have been chosen by Christ's Vicar as the heavenly Patron and Protector of the Church founded by Christ. Therefore, with the greatest confidence I implore your powerful assistance for the whole Church Militant. Protect, in a special manner, with true fatherly love, the Sovereign Pontiff and all the bishops and priests in communion with the See of Peter. Be the protector of all who labor for souls amid the trials and tribulations of this life; and grant that all the nations of the earth may submit with docility to that Church out of which there is no salvation.

Dearest St. Joseph, accept the offering I now make of myself to you. I dedicate myself to your service that you may ever be my Father, my Protector and my Guide in the way of salvation. Obtain for me great purity of heart and a fervent love for the interior life. Grant that, after your example, all my actions may be directed to the greater glory of God, in union with the Divine Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and your own parternal heart. Finally, pray for me that I may share in the peace and joy of your holy death. Amen

This is a prayer I say in novena every Sunday. It is pre-Vatican II, not the least politically correct and worth the time.

This isn't something we can turn back on our own. We can write and complain and attempt to legislate and vote, but the immediacy of this attack needs the response of Heaven and The Almighty God.

Thank you OPUS, I appreciate you passing that prayer along to me.  I *do* pray, and I believe in the power of prayer.  My concern is the weight of the fight that may be looming.  I am mindful of what Jesus said about "the gates of hell shall not prevail..." but that does not eliminate the dreadful feeling that I have that our Church shall undergo a scourging and passion of sorts.  Are we not going to be called to fight?

And the Catholic Church would have to end its practice of ex-communication, i.e. booting out people it doesn't like.

That's not what excommunication is, but okay . . .

It is a fight.

Here is another prayer/ St. Ignatius Loyola

Suscipe

Take, O Lord, and receive my entire liberty, my memory, my understanding and my whole will. All that I am and all that I possess You have given me; I surrender it all to You to be disposed of according to Your will. Give me only Your love and Your grace; with these I will be rich enough, and will desire nothing more. Amen

There are those who are given to fight the legal battles, and there are those who write and others who raise money to support them all. But, we do have a tendency to not give our wills to God. I fight the battle minute-to-minute. No matter what my intentions, I always seem to have my will firmly before God's will.

Maybe if we all tried to for just a little to let God work His will through prayer and desire for His Mercy and Forgiveness, He would answer.

Just my humble desire and not meant otherwise.

We also need to pray for this woman and her child.

The child will have a fine education at the local public school.

I do not know if this is true where she lives, but where WE live that would be a serious falsehood! The Oklahoma City Public Schools are a nightmare. And all over the country, other school districts are in comparable shape. A liberal nightmare!

(That's why mine go to a private Lutheran school. And we're Mormon, not Lutheran.)

It's a disgrace how homos use all kinds of ploys to get their way. Not only do they wish to self destruct wih their life, now they use an innocent child as a pawn to shove down someone elses throat. This Catholic school is right to NOT allow this little one to come to their school. It violates their teachings and the little girl will NOT stop loving her two mommies. It's just the way it is. For her it is normal. The entire situation is tragic.

Point taken.  Opus, I see the attacks on The Church as an attack on Christ.  Peter denied Our Lord three times and I believe that happened so that we can learn from it.  God willing, prayer will keep me strong so that I don't deny Christ, and I hope that I will learn how He wants me to respond.

"What I don't understand is why these two lesbians would want their daughter to go to a school where she will be correctly taught that homosexual practice is an abomination to God."

I was wondering the seme thing. What I can only guess is that maybe they will use this as a test case to push homosexuality in private schools since, rightfully, they are discriminating against that which is an abomination. Could it be another B.S.A. situation with the pawn being a lesbian in training, er little girl? Could she be used to neutralize all those nasty things straight people say about lesbians and homosexuals at large? Create doubt about that as they present themselves as the ultimate, peae loving couple?

Who really knows what crosses the mind of these depraved people. Time will tell what their motive is. In any event it is sin to subject this little girl to such abominable confusion.

Funny how lesbians want little girls and gay men want little boys as their children. I shudder to think about what goes on in these households. Too often homosexuals do NOT restrict their ungodly sex acts to those of adult age. More bad news is that homosexuals are MORE prone to pedahilia than disturbed heterosexuals. Then again, someone this ill, homosexuals know no low.

"This case is a set up."

Just guessing but I think you maybe right. Notice how it did NOT stop faggots from presenting a lawsuit to the B.S.A. even though they are a private organization.

The freedom to quarantine from scum is what Martin Luther King JR himself fought for.

*What I don't understand is why these two lesbians would want their daughter to go to a school where she will be correctly taught that homosexual practice is an abomination to God.*

So that they can then turn around and sue the school for discriminating against same sex partnerships by virtue of what they are teaching.

It is all part of the plan. Step one, gain entry. Step two, destroy the school teaching system. .... You get the picture.

No disrespect, but shouldn't the scum be quarantined?

quarantine
Meaning:
Enforced isolation of patients suffering from a contagious disease in order to prevent the spread of disease.

Well, if the "parents" were so concerned about the child's education (which they are emphatically NOT concerned about,) then the "Parents" would see fit to place the child in a non-sectarian private school, or MOVE to a place where a fitting education can be obtained.

If they have time to run lesbian/homo activist websites and go through this exercise to set up a lawsuit, they have time to find a better place to live.

How about the South Pole?
