Pray.
Prayer to St. Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church
Thank you OPUS, I appreciate you passing that prayer along to me. I *do* pray, and I believe in the power of prayer. My concern is the weight of the fight that may be looming. I am mindful of what Jesus said about "the gates of hell shall not prevail..." but that does not eliminate the dreadful feeling that I have that our Church shall undergo a scourging and passion of sorts. Are we not going to be called to fight?

It is a fight.
Here is another prayer/ St. Ignatius Loyola
Suscipe
Take, O Lord, and receive my entire liberty, my memory, my understanding and my whole will. All that I am and all that I possess You have given me; I surrender it all to You to be disposed of according to Your will. Give me only Your love and Your grace; with these I will be rich enough, and will desire nothing more. Amen
There are those who are given to fight the legal battles, and there are those who write and others who raise money to support them all. But, we do have a tendency to not give our wills to God. I fight the battle minute-to-minute. No matter what my intentions, I always seem to have my will firmly before God's will.
Maybe if we all tried to for just a little to let God work His will through prayer and desire for His Mercy and Forgiveness, He would answer.
Just my humble desire and not meant otherwise.
We also need to pray for this woman and her child.
