Maybe you don't think there are any differences between Arnold's position and that of traditional Democrats-- but why don't stop talking to people who only think like you do and ask a Democrat if there are any differences (there are plenty around)?

And you'll get an earfull of differences: Starting with property taxes, car license taxes, environmental policy (no they aren't at all impressed with his statement about oil-drilling off California -- that doesn't go anywhere NEAR far enough for them), benefits for illegals, hell -- they don't even like his statements on gays and abortion -- because he doesn't go anywhere near FAR ENOUGH for them. Ask them, they'll tell you.

Arnold may be well left of you...but he's light-years to the right of Bustamante and Davis and their consticuencies. The problem with doctrinaire conservatism is that it thinks the political scale only goes off to the left about 5 inches from where they are. The Greens will certainly show you the error of your ways. And if your next Governor is not Arnold, it's going to be someone working day and night to make the Greens [not to mention the illegals] happy.

Actually, that was the reason I said "Traditional Democrat" so as to differentiate between the whackjobs currently running California and normal Democrats.

Y'all are so happy to move Left so you can call yourselves "winners".

I'm sorry, it just isn't so...when you adopt and pursue your opponent's less radical agendas, you've LOST.

Scott, the Demonrats are about who gets the jobs and who gets the contracts. So are the RINOs. Arnold is no different and no better than Doofus or Bustamante. The claimed differences are campaign bloviation and sucker bait. The problem with RINOism is that it hasn't a clue as to the political scale because no RINO cares about anything but his/her own pocket and his/her own portfolio.

If Mexicans are your real issue, they are coming in any event and Arnold is at least honest enough to admit that there won't be any Prop. 187 fiascoes because the courts have ruled as they have in similar circumstances all over the country that you cannot deny benefits even to non-citizens that are extended to citizens. Read the 14th Amendment, all of it. I think that is ludicrous but it is the law and will continue to be. Don't argue with me. Argue with the black-robed tyrants.

Arnold will ask federal assistance in paying the bills and so will Doofus and so will Bustamante. That means: amnesty is being accepted by all three of them. The Mexicans are soon enough going to be California's voting majority. Will they be Demonrats or Republican conservatives? They will not be RINOs. Arnold's social anarchism will alienate them big time. If you want your largest minority to be as Demonratic as are the blacks, go ahead. The Demonrats will be happy to attack the white shoe Planned Parenthood GOP (not offending Planned Barrenhood, of course, but waging class warfare until the Mexicans are 90%+ Demonrat because of handouts). When the Mexicans are fully socialist and in permanent control of California because of the social issue stupidity of the RINOs and the demographics which are California's destiny, Muffy and Skipper will move their poloclub to Westport or Darien, Connecticut, leaving you in the lurch.

Every time a RINO runs, we hear the same old tired nonsense that only RINOs can win coupled with the idiocy that this election will be the last unless we finally (grabbing the lapels hysterically) WAKE UP AND REALIZE, MAN, THAT THE RINOs ARE OUR ONLY HOPE!@!@!@!

NO SALE!!!!
