I think Greer has his job at stake. He has made mistakes in handling this case and if Terri improves his mistakes would be investigated.

The judge went along with the (pro-death) idea that the patient has to reproduce voluntary actions to in order to prove she is not in a vegetative state. The laws do not require reproduction of the actions.
Allowing Mike Schiavo to deny Terri therapy which denial might have led to her deteriorating condition.

Terri is currently suffering from what seems to be aspiration pneumonia.

*Martha Lenderman is the wife of Greer's fellow judge. She is also on the Board of the Hospice that Terri has been in. (The PR company heped her in her campaign for State Rep. ---District 51 - 1998, it helped Greer in 1992)
