I stand corrected. I'm thinking more of Fortune 500-type companies. I do know that the typical CEO of a Fortune 500 company was a decent high school student, a mediocre college student, but a great entrepreneur nonetheless.
I just had an interesting conversation with a friend of mine today. He's thinking of sending his son to a two-year junior college program to learn the basics of business -- the kid has an incredibly sharp business mind at the age of 15, and this guy doesn't want him to "ruin" it by going to college for four years right after high school.

The more warped and perverse the public education system becomes, the more attractive alternative methods of education become. Sounds like your friend is giving serious thought to his son's education - if every parent gave half that attention, we wouldn't be in this mess.
