It's not as if the votes count otherwise.
Still, it's a great way to let the world know about the way elections actually work in the US, and I would note, even Floridians can particpate.
To: nwrep
I think that they want to participate in our government because they don't have the guts to over throw this lot of dull in-bred parasites.
All the Dutch dirty laundry.

A global Electoral Commission will be established to validate the election process and results. It consists of the most experienced managers of national elections.Well, at least it gives Jimmy Carter something to do.

Electoral oversight?
A global Electoral Commission will be established to validate the election process and results. It consists of the most experienced managers of national elections.Iraq, China, Cuba, Zimbabwe, and a host of other nations have PLENTY of election managers with TONS of "hands-on" experience.

"They are hoping to show that voting for Bush is an extremely unfavorable choice among the "world citizens", thereby dissuading the US citizens from voting for Bush, and instead, casting a ballot which better reflects the opinion of the World."
Not bloody likely. It will only tick the majority of Americans off.

"Our loyalties are to the species and the planet. We speak for Earth."
- Carl Sagan
One of the many Saganian quotes that sets my teeth on edge. The man was genuine bovine methane.

Whenever I see Carl Sagan's name in print, I have the irresistible urge to say "Billions and Billions".

I like the warning for stupid US Democrats...
U.S. Citizens: please note! Casting your vote on theworldvotes.org does not mean that you have voted officially. We encourage U.S. citizens to cast their vote in their traditional polling station as well.

I just sent 'em a note reading...
"Could you include a special voting option just for US citizens? I was thinking something along the lines of 'Kiss my Yankee ass, you Eurotrash poofters!'. Thanks in advance."

U.S. Citizens: please note!
Casting your vote on theworldvotes.org does not mean that you have voted officially. We encourage U.S. citizens to cast their vote in their traditional polling station as well. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Can you say "Palm Beach"?
I suggest FReepers spread the word in majority-Democrat communities that they can now "VOTE ONLINE at theworldvotes.org!!!".

"Our loyalties are to the species and the planet. We speak for Earth." - Carl Sagan You speak for a backwater mudball? Aside from the fact that earth is the only planet we know of at the moment where we can walk around outside without special gear and is of cosmic unimportance at the moment, questions of ethics are better addressed without inhaling fumes from various noxious mudball weeds.

Can you say "Palm Beach"? This isn't going to work for a bunch of Floridians.
Ain't no chads, pregnant or otherwise, involved.
