That 26-30% figure is not a guess I pulled out of a hat. It is typical for a multi-candidate field, and a reasonable assumption for this election.

Don't believe the hype that this election is "a circus" and "there's over a hundred candidates". That is all liberal spin to keep voters away from the polls. This is two, or at most, a three man race, just like most elections. It's going to take 40% minimum to win this election. Arnold as already polling at 45%. This is not a primary. This is for all the marbles.

I like Tom McClintock, but if he throws this race to Busta-Mundo I, and a lot of other right of center voters, are going to hold a grudge for a long time. It could well end his career for state-wide office. He needs to follow Simon's lead and do the right thing for this state and the Republican party.

No.... 30-31% max. There are 135 candidates and you can bet that there will be drain into odd places. Gary Coleman WILL get votes. The stripper lady WILL get votes. Edward Kennedy, Richard Simmons and Michael Jackson will all get votes. Not a lot but that slew of candidates will ultimately drain from the voter pool.

Arnold as already polling at 45%.

That's ridiculous. Arnold is polling at around 22-25% in the liberal media polls, he's probably a point or two below that among high-propensity voters.

The 45% figure comes from an automated computer dialer poll where children, felons, parakeets and trained monkeys were able to push the buttons in response.

Schwarzenegger said he would not sign a bill to give drivers licenses to ILLEGALS but is open to them receiving services normally reserved for citizens and legal residents.

Add to that his Feinsteinian beliefs about guns -- guns and guards to protect me, 9-1-1 for thee -- I have decided NOT to vote for him. I don't buy the "assault weapons" BS they can be defined as anything and have been. These guys never seem to talk about going after those ALREADY breaking laws it's always MORE laws.

The best thing that could happen IMO is for California to continue it's downward spiral under Democrats. Junk bond status, confiscation of wealth (except from Ms Huffington), ethnic gangs bolder than ever, more public school "appreciation" of alternate lifestyles, more and more accommodations for Mexico City, (try for) total confiscation of guns -- except from those who already are breaking existing laws.

Liberalism run wild, America. This will be America.

We have been prudent for four decades. Our cause is no longer light and transient. We have been more disposed to suffer and wait. "But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them [us] under absolute Despotism, it is their [our] right, it is their [our] duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their [our] future security

Don't let it get that far in America. Stand back and let California show what will happen if it's not stopped before it's too late.
