Ok so you've given up. Bring your weapons down to the police station and surrender them. Meanwhile the rest of us are going to campaign long and hard to defend our constitutional rights.

How? By voting for McClintock? I agree with your sentiments. But Bustamante will confiscate your weapons and ignore armed Mexican gangs, he will give illegal aliens with Matriculas the right to vote, he will lead California one step closer to Aztlan. Your choice is between that and Arnold, who wont take your guns away, but isn't perfect on the issue. McClintock could not win in 5 weeks or 50 weeks. So what is the point of this article? That is my only comment.

If what you say is true, and I don't doubt that it is, then it occurs to me that the best thing that can happen is for Bustamonte to be elected Governor. Because, if what you say is true, then there will be a war sooner or later ... better that it occur now, that people wake the hell up now, rather than later.

As I have said before, voting for the lesser of two evils is the curse of a damned culture. If we, as Conservatives, are willing to lay aside our principles because we are tired of shovelling sand against the tide, then we have already lost the war. Having Bustamonte and his racist conquest for Azatlan sitting in the Capital of Califirnia will turn the tide. Otherwise, we suffer thru a few more years of tepid Republicrat nonsense while a few million more illegals stream into the state and a few million more taxpayers stream out. Better to get it on now than later.

Your choice is between that and Arnold,

I'm getting so tired of this. There are 135 choices, OK? The winner is going to get about 26%. Turnout in special election is going to be low, so lets say as many people will vote as voted last November, that would be about 8.5 million. So the winnner will need 2.2 million votes.

Last November 3.2 million people voted for McClintock for Controller. It's not unreasonable to assume that the same people might vote for McClintock. You can even throw away a million voters and McClintock would still get the 2.2 million that would amount to 26%. If even fewer Davis Democrats turnout, which is highly likely (lots of people go to hangings, but family members usually stay home) it becomes even easier for McClintock to hit 26% or 30%.
