The question is.. Just because you can justify your own submission, should the rest of us bend over along with you? The answer is NO.

If there's a question of submission to judicial tyranny, then let me reframe it for you. Should the citizens of Alabama submit to Judge Moore redefining where his authority comes from, what religion is proper and right, and what religious messages need to be given on the rotunda of the supreme court?

You're right, the answer should be no.

Because if it isn't, you may see Satanist "decorations" on the rotunda. Or atheist "decorations". Or atheist sermons from the bench.

Moore could use private funds to put up a billboard. Perfectly proper. He could use private funds to take out newspaper, radio and television ads. Perfectly proper. He could write a book (on his own time) and get it published. Again, perfectly proper. He could preach in churches or on street corners, on his own time and not wearing his robes, and it would be perfectly proper.

He's using his government office to promote a particular religious viewpoint. That is not proper.

If you believe strongly in your religion, why wouldn't the power of persuasion and example be enough to convince people to adopt the beliefs you hold? Why do so many religionists seem to distrust their own religion so, that they insist on changing the secular national motto and the secular Pledge of Allegiance into religious ones? Why should the government help fund the teaching of religion? Where are the parents to do it? Get the government out of the education business altogether.
