So Long Jack! [Clintonista North Korea Negotiator Finally Resigns]

So long, Jack
Charles L. "Jack" Pritchard dropped one on the Bush administration this week by quitting his job as special envoy on North Korea to join the liberal Brookings Institution, days before the next round of talks on the North Korean nuclear dispute.
The implicit message in the abrupt departure was that Mr. Pritchard disagreed with the current policy.
The special envoy was viewed within the administration as a "Clintonista" who favored the former president's appeasement approach to North Korea. He even went on the now-infamous October 2000 visit to North Korea by Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright, who boasted of being the first secretary of state to dance with North Korean children while remaining silent on the plight of the starving people in the communist dictatorship.
Now some in the administration are returning fire. One source joked that Mr. Pritchard is called Jack because "he doesn't know jack."
With Mr. Pritchard gone, one official said: "Now at least our internal disagreements won't be between the Bush and Clinton administrations," a reference to the surprising number of Clinton holdovers who control key slots on the Bush national-security team.

Good riddance to one of the men who brought us a nuclear-armed North Korea and the prospect of a million dead Americans. He belongs at the Brookings Institution. This seems to be shaping up as a day for good news!

hey Jack, watch out for your gluteus maximus when you go through the door.

Adios, loser!

The implicit message in the abrupt departure was that Mr. Pritchard disagreed with the current policy. Yeh, Pritchard tried to offer N. Korea Americas wealth our first born sons in exchange for not hurting our feelings. Bush said no.

The implicit message in the abrupt departure was that Mr. Pritchard disagreed with the current policy. Perhaps current policy doesn't involve permitting the NKs to turn Alaskan and western CONUS cities into glowing, radioactive craters. At that negotiating point, Mr. Pritchard and the Adminstration had "irreconsilable differences".

Progress at last.
North Korea will be shaking in their boots now that the appeasers are gone and Bush will put someone in who will no longer let them get away with their past greivances.

Why on earth didn't Bush take out and shoot all the Clintonites on the first day of his administration?
There is not one of them who isn't working to destroy the nation.

Why are these rotting pieces of living garbage still stinking up our government? If they're protected by civil service rules, then laterally arabesque them into one building--all together with NOTHING to do and access to nothing important. Pay their salaries and call it a security expense because they will no longer be working effectively for the destruction of our nation.
Now some in the administration are returning fire.
It's about damn time! In fact we should pray it's IN time--and ENOUGH. Come on, guys. Clean house!

Actually, KIM JONG-IL's strategy (as assisted through his UN Diplomatic Mission in New York City with intelligence agents monitoring American domestic politics) is to be intransigent and tactically stretch out the nuke negotiations with the Americans over the next 14 months, in the hope that GW Bush is NOT re-elected in 2004.
North Korea is strongly hoping for a U.S. Democratic Party victory, in which case they know anti-DPRK hawks/realists will be tossed out of State Dept. and DOD by the bucket load, and Madeline Albright's apprentices will be back in positions of power on North Korea policy -- and they will return to the Clinton policy that got us in this mess in the first place.
For all intents and purposes, a Bush victory in 2004 gives Pyongyang FOUR MORE YEARS of hell, of which they cannot probably survive, so a Democratic Administration is really their sole hope. Because of the high stakes, and their propensity for bribery and nefarious underworld dealings, I would not be surprised to learn of some intriguing DPRK money flows here and there in this regard.

Why are these rotting pieces of living garbage still stinking up our government? And on National Security teams? What are they thinking? That's how America got in all these messes in the first place!
The State Department needs an enema!

I like the female ambassador from the Koreas with silver hair... She knows here stuff and calls NK out on the carpet, unlike the ex sec/state/pig who want to jump little Kim's bones.

I would not be surprised to learn of some intriguing DPRK money flows here and there in this regard. Bill Clinton now has residence in Ireland. He can pass the money to his wife through a personal family account named Cash Inc.. That in turn can be handed out to individuals who can then donate it to the DNC.
That's how the Gays must do it. 1% of the population couldn't buy 99% of Americas thoughts without big money.

Why on earth didn't Bush take out and shoot all the Clintonites on the first day of his administration? It could be for the same reason that W hasn't recinded any of Clinton's egregeous executive orders - professional courtesy.

Exactly. Then the SOB quit right in the middle of things, doing his best to throw a wrench in the works and sabotage Dubya's efforts. B*st*rd probably planned it for months.
Republicans have to quit assuming there is any good will or love for the country in the democrat party. Rats are much like North Koreans in that regard. They're not like us.
To: rightofrush
professional courtesy. Well...it's time to get downright RUDE!

Actually, I would guess that Pritchard quitting right in the middle of things sends a very direct, clear message to the North Koreans that President Bush's attitude towards them is very different than his predecessor's. This seems to me to be a
good thing.

At what unspeakable price do some write their names in the history books? Anyone who could participate in the charade is beyond contemptable. Using the greatest blight on the face of humanity for sheer personal ambition cannot be condemned strongly enough. I can't even put into words how low these people are.

Bush would have had to abolish the state department to rid the government of those who would destroy us from within.
Great idea, but hardly possible.
Slowly we will rid ourselves of these enemies.
As tomorrow is the last day of recess I am hoping there will be a multitude of recess appointments......
