that Starr's report mentions an oven mitt in the glove compartment of Foster's vehicle. I always wondered, what the hell do you do with an oven mitt in a car? but hey,

A United States Attorney involved in a murder investigation of another attorney, one of the President of the United States' attornies, is told to "back off" or "back down" or else.

Further he states that this wasn't just a professional, employment or character related threat. He was physically threatened along with his family.
