A racist will never win the election.

Unions won't vote for him. They'll stay home.

Why isn't the GOP having a recall convention? Republicans need this more than the Dems.

A racist will never win the election.

Only a White Republican can be portrayed as a racist. All others get a pass. Cruise can win, if the Dems unite solidly behind him. But the poles are looking good are they not?

Thanks, I agree. And, the Will Rogers quote is most appropriate.

Well, if they pick someone else who won't be on the official ballot, I can guarantee they will not be able to write-in the name correctly and we'll have another Florida 2000 all over again. Disenfranchised voters all over the Golden State. This is assuming it is a close vote which I doubt will be the case.

They are. The democrats scheduled their convention for the same weekend and location.

They are, and it's been scheduled for this september for months. The Dems stole the dates, and the host city.

You've got to be kidding me! So many racist Dems win, if I even tried to start naming them, my computer would melt before I finished the list!

I wonder how Governor Davis plans to vote on this issue.

I'm imagining a sign across the street: "Davis/Bustamante supporters, you pay more and leave the rest of us alone." Oversized envelopes addressed to the Board of Equalization are offered to convention attendees.

Arnold+Peter+Tom

Hey, that is my #2 wet dream for California. I would give my left testicle to have your scenario come about.

My #1 wet dream is to have everyone rally around Tom and Arnold be his Education Policy guy (or something where Arnold can use his honest desire to help kids and his business acumen).

But, like that fantasy night I spent so many times with Marsha Brady, #1 ain't gonna happen.
