Here is an example of how the NY Slimes lies and creates so called news. Then it becomes front page or editorial bs in the smaller maggot infested fishwraps across the country.

Gauthier: The poverty Bush can't grasp

By Deborah E. Gauthier
Thursday, August 28, 2003

President George W. Bush supposedly said, at one point in his campaign three years ago, that he "didn't understand how poor people think."

So according to the New York Times, he asked for the help of the Rev. Jim Wallis, who was director of Call to Renewal, a group of churches that fight poverty. At the time, Bush described himself as a "white Republican guy who doesn't get it." And he wanted to "get it."

Wallis was initially taken with Bush's "compassionate conservative" views, particularly the proposal to provide federal funding for faith-based programs. Wallis now labels Bush a failure.

I have a new one to add to the the I am not voting because -- today I found out someone isn't supporting Pres Bush because he isn't taking a stand on the 10 Commandments in Alabama!

This seems bogus. Most liberal churchmen were very critical of the "faith-based initiative" right from the get-go, so this story sets off my BS alarm.

But Wallis is, in fact, an ardent Democrat, who did not vote for Mr. Bush, and who edits a liberal religious magazine called Sojourners, which has consistently criticized the President and his administration. None of this is mentioned in the Times story.

WHEN WILL THE LIBERALS REALIZE THAT THEY CAN'T GET AWAY WITH THEIR LIES!!!

I'm emailig this one out for sure .. if the NYT won't report the truth .. The I will
