Humor is great, but do you feel it should be used on articles and threads regarding bombs, damage, destruction, murder,and death? It seems recently that almost every thread of a somber, serious nature is hit with little quips, most of which are not even funny or clever, and seem out of place.
I think threads like:
Lice offer clues to origin of clothing
would probably be a better target for cute quips and jokes...
You are so right. Nothing humorous about loss of property, which can easily escalate into loss of life.
Last week there were several workmen in a building that was torched by these criminals. Luckily they escaped.
