I'm informed that a single issue is before the judge - access to medical records by Terri's parents. Please inform FReeper awareness about the parameters of this hearing.
It is incredible that the public is being so misled about Terri!!!!!!! Check out the header.

Emergency hearing set in coma case THE ASSOCIATED PRESS - Posted on Mon, Sep. 01, 2003
TAMPA - A federal judge has scheduled an emergency hearing for Tuesday to decide whether the parents of a woman being kept alive by a feeding tube are being denied access to their daughter's medical records, a family spokeswoman said Saturday.
U.S. District Judge Richard Lazzara will hear arguments Tuesday afternoon, although a specific time has not been set.

So, this hearing will therefore mean little to keeping Terri alive. Even if the judge orders the parents be given the records, and he probably will, what does that mean at this late stage? Give them the records: they already know that she has long been neglected and is near death. If the judge won't remove Michael Schiavo as guardian, nothing will change, and this hearing will be another expensive mockery of justice for the Schindler family. She is not allowed antibiotics. Imagine how antibiotics would work for her, as she has had none for many years and therefore her frail little bood would offer no resistance to their potency.

Thanks for the ping, Bob.

If I can follow a balloon with my eyes and react to my family and caretakers, I hope the AP doesn't deem that I am A COMA CASE (and breathe on my own).
What if all Terri wants is to be taken outside in a wheelchair to feel a breeze? She has been denied her day to day life as well.

Are her parents hoping to see the erasures in the records that the one nurse says happened? The nurse said Schiavo would ask to see Terri's records and by he next day some of her notations had "magically disappeared."

(Is Terri suffering from severe depression, on top of the insult to her brain?)

Well lets hope that Judge Lazarra also orders Terri back into the hospital under guard until he reads the medical records!
