On behalf of Terri Schiavo, since she can not speak for herself, and may never be able to speak for herself, may I thank everyone who wishes her well in thoughts and /or prayers.
I dont know Terri Schiavo.
I have never met, nor had I heard of her before she was incapicitated, and I would not presume to proclaim that I know what she thinks or feels about anything, in her current state of physical existance.
I do know she is alive.
It is obvious that her family loves her, and derives some measure of comfort and enjoys contact with her, even though she is severely disabled and unable to verbally express her thoughts.
Does Terri want to die?
I have no way to answer that question, nor does anyone else.
She lives. She lives despite all previous and current efforts to make her die on somebody else's schedule.
I think she will die when she is ready to do so.
I say leave the day she chooses to die up to her, and God.
But for the love of God, and the sake of all humanity, let that day be her choice, and/or God's.
She has already lost everything except the will to live.
I have no idea why she clings to life.
If she had a will to die, she and/or God, would have made that choice known many years ago.
Unless or untill she decides to die, or God decides to take her, if her physical body requires only food and water to exist, what person who claims to be human would deny her that minimum of care, which she has been receiving for years?
Terri Schiavo has never been accused or convicted of any crime, and the court system in the state of Florida has no right to sentence her to death.
