Is it possible that George W. Greer really wants to spare Terri, but he is afraid of the FL mobs demanding euthanasia? Maybe he is like Louis XIV, who moved the royal palace from Paris to Versailles to be rid of the irritating Parisian mobs.
No, more likely than not, Greer is a part of the euthanasia movement, which supporters call "mercy killing." He seems to eat, sleep, and dream starving Terri Schindler to death. Nothing else will bring him comfort. Perhaps he has precommitted himself to that position. I trust that his execution order will NOT bring him the peace he so sorely desires.

It is interesting that 'killum'Greer has tried to mischaracterize the ruling to execute Terri as 'a mandate from the higher court', as if he is only following orders from a higher court when it is his ruling to execute her via dehydration and starvation that was ruled upon by the higher court.

I hope Greer's father had a more peaceful death than the one Greer plans for Terri.
It seems as if Greer's father was a native of PA (Arthur A. Greer, last residence Dunedin FL, born 2 Nov 1925, d. 9 Sep 2000, had lived in PA. ) I think this is the "Old Neighborhood" for the Greers...
Cochranton Borough was created by order of the Court of Quarter Sessions April 5, 1855, [snip]. The first election was held April 14, 1855, when James Greer was elected Burgess
