The governor can actually do quite a bit. Remember that the attorney general and the state attorney both answer to him directly. No, he cannot butt into an active court case that is not a state case, but he can cause an investigation and he can (most likely) assign a guardian - whether the long-suffering Judge Greer is hip to the idea or not.
The Department of Children and Families as well as their arm, Adult Protective Services also answer to Jeb. I wonder if their phones are ringing off the hooks.
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the Governor is doing something right now... quietly.... behind the scenes. Remember that Maggot Schiavo insulted him pretty harshly on national television. I view that as challenging him to up it a notch. Someone needs to put a Buick in that boy's mouth.
In any event, I have read a few of the posts here, trying to connect the gots. You Freepers are so close to how we are going to stop these criminals. So close. If anyone knows of a decent PI, send them my way.

WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME to this very special Freeper!!
3 cheers!
I hope you can see how concerned we are, and know that we want so badly to help.
I am currently working on finishing up a complete compilation of all the contacts listed in this very lengthy thread. I will post when I have it.
Anyone else want some fine Columbian roast? I'm planning on a late night, here at FR and Googling 'til I'm google-eyed.
Ms. Hennessy, have you heard about the jell-o idea? If not, please take a look at this website (mine) and tell us what you think about "Operation Wiggle" -- I would absolutely love to have your opinion.

Can't Jeb issue a 'stay of execution' if Greer orders the food and water stopped? ... Yeah, I know it isn't technically an execution order, but if the Governor issues a stay, it has the onus of needing a court ruling to clarify the situation where a judge is ordering the means to execute Terri Schindler-Schiavo who has committed no crime and is not a convicted capital criminal!
What really frosts me is the lack of effort by the Protective Services people. If a parent were doing to a child what this damn judge and his cronies Felos and Michael Schiavo are doing to Terri, the state department of protective services would take the ward away from the parents and place it under departmental responsibility until all aspects were investigated. NOT ONE DAMN jot has been filed by protective services and that IS something Jeb Bush could order.
