This may sound silly, but I keep praying for Terri to get access to a phone and order a pizza. Hey, God does work miracles! I think that just symbolizes how desperate this struggle has become. Hope is in short supply just now, and I've been having to go to the Great Physician over and over not only for Terri and her family, but for myself.

(Why does Schumer think it's okay for HIM to put duty to God first, but it's not okay for others?)

From this article posted on FR in July -
He soon emerged partially from the coma. But for 18 years, he could communicate only by blinking his eyes or grunting.
Then, on June 13, he called out "Mom" to his mother and later asked for a Pepsi. While home from the hospital for a weekend, he said he wanted milk with his breakfast. Since then, he has steadily increased his vocabulary, and he is considered fully emerged from his stupor.
