I am feeling so defeated today. Nobody cares. I spoke to my editor, no interest in running Terri's story.

Don't worry. If this thing comes to a head and they get closer to the despicable "exit protocol", you're going to see a lot of people suddenly take notice, almost immediately!
These stories can develop overnight, and the whole country could end up getting on board.
Now, if only they could cancel this darn Recall election out here. There's a news blackout on anything else, so far, and it's getting a bit frustrating.
Let's just stay on the job, and continue quietly working for Terri. This is a time of testing for all of us.

Florida state politician

runningDid we have this on Greer before?
Greer graduated from St. Petersburg Junior College before he went to Florida State!
From 1998:

Other info on that page:
As early as 1972, he began working in judicial campaigns for Judges Phillip Federico, Grable Stoutamire and Burton Easton. In 1973, the Judge was hired to help create a city charter for the Town of Largo.Board of Adjustment from 1979 to 1984,
As [county] commissioner, he backed the Pinellas Trail, Penny for Pinellas sales tax and a redesign of the widening of the Courtney Campbell Parkway.
Some say that his political prowess was such that when a prospective opponent learned that the Judge was the opposition, the opponent sought another seat.
In January 1993, Judge Greer was assigned to the Juvenile Division. He was reassigned to the Probate, Guardianship and Trust Division in August 1994. In January of this year he was assigned to the Family Law Division. Judge Greer is experiencing a strong learning curve and is eager to mention that the lawyers have been especially kind to him. He reads everything he can find on family law and talks with other judges and lawyers. In February, he completed the Family Law Certification Review Course. The Judge brings a special talent to the bench, having been a custodial and a non-custodial parent.
His first position after graduation was with Wolfe, Bonner & Hogan. From 1969 until 1992, he was a sole practitioner.
More info at that article, which may have been posted here before (sorry).

(Is Terri suffering from severe depression, on top of the insult to her brain?)
To: kimmie7
Kimmie,
If they kill Terri we must accept that God has willed for her to go home, in his Infinite Love and Mercy for her.
While starvation is miserable, so is pneumonia.
The people involved in killing her, as the Greek Orthodox priest I spoke with yesterday said, will face God over this someday. And they will have to answer for their actions, for their lack of compassion, for their murder of another of God's children.
Terri will, undoubtedly, spend the rest of eternity close to the love and peace of God and in a bliss unknown to us here, yet.
The demons, in whom we Orthodox believe, love it when we despair. We must never despair. God has a plan for us all and he cares for the tiny sparrow. I know God has a plan for Terri. God help us, let's hope He has a plan for this country as well, because I have several children who easily qualify for the disabled label.
"Since therefore Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same thought, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, so as to live for the rest of time in the flesh no longer by human passions, but by the will of God." (I Peter 4:1-2)
