This is turning into a real successful freep. The free flow of ideas and sharing of information hopefully will benefit Terri. I can't believe all the brainiacs here at Free Republic. I am not worthy.

yes, my dear you are. You've certainly inspired me. As have all the others here. Let's hope "they" are lurking. If they are -- here's a message:
WE WILL NOT BACK DOWN. Terri's life is precious to our Lord and to us and we will do everything within our power to help her. And DON'T underestimate our power. With God we can do anything. You may think getting Terri 'out of the way' will do it. Dead men tell no tales and all that, but Jeb Bush got 27,000 e-mails and we can only imagine the actual number of concerned people who WON'T GIVE UP. You can't get us all. And even if you could, God sees what you do. He knows your heart of hearts, and he still moves mountains.

"I have found Terri's threads to be flame-free. That's never happened to my recollection."
Oh, I agree with you, FV! After reading the complaint (post 464), I found that it confirms most of the information presented on the 'Terri' threads. Nothing here to flame.
Guess I was thinking more in terms of opposition research that might be in progress. LOL. For that matter, the complaint covered many of the issues FReepers have mentioned here.
Yes, I have the HHS phone number. I was in the process of reading the linked memo from HHS when I checked back to see what was going on.
Pray for Terri to survive until (at least) Tuesday. Don't you think that without the will to live she would have been gone years ago?

Pray for Terri to survive until (at least) Tuesday. Don't you think that without the will to live she would have been gone years ago? I rarely cry, but when I knelt at the altar today in church to pray for Terri I did. Boy, God's really hit a nerve in me with her story. He's really laid her all on my heart. Occasionally during the day I catch myself just crying out to him -- INTERVENE...INTERVENE...INTERVENE! Rarely do I get hit so hard by anything. I have the normal concerns and do have many burdens -- but boy, the Lord really smacked me in the face with this one.

I think the reason Terri has touched all our hearts is that we are able to empathize with the situation. The helplessness of Terri and her family is profoundly felt and the responsibility of trying to DO something is readily accepted.
Your care and concern for Terri are reflected in the work you've done on this thread, Kimmie. So much prayer and goodwill being sent in her direction is bound to have positive results!
Prayers for Terri and for you, too.

Thank you so much for providing the link to the complaint! Felos is a total loon!! I hope they strip him of his license! I am really praying about this hearing night and day. Also praying that Terri is strong enough to pull through this ordeal. She certainly has a strong will to live! God bless Terri and her family at this very critical juncture!
Also mentions that the guardian ad-litem, Pearse, was gotten rid of because Felos didn't like what he had to say in his affidavit!
That's right! Pearse said that Schiavo had a conflict of interest as Terri's guardian! (I believe at that point in time it was commonly known that Schiavo was already living with his "fiancee" who was already pregnant.) At least there was one honest lawyer. Too bad the judge was crooked!

Boy, God's really hit a nerve in me with her story. He's really laid her all on my heart. You've just said how I've been feeling about Terri, too! I'm so thankful that God has brought so many people together on behalf of Terri and her family. Someone mentioned in another post much earlier how our prayers are like incense raising up to the Lord. That is truly what this feels like to me, and I know God is watching and is smiling. But He wants us to keep going and not give up because this is just too important! Those of you who are doing all this wonderful investigating and petitioning, etc. are doing a GREAT job! My hat's off to you, 'cause you obviously have skills that I don't! God bless FReepers and God bless the Schindlers!

I've got goose bumps. If this many people on one website feel this way, imagine how many God's tapped on the shoulder around the world. Some people don't even know who or what they're praying for. They just know to pray. "AIN'T GOD GRAND!!!!

See my post 493 in this thread....
I think this is rather telling and could be an indicator of some really low-life "right to die" type stuff going on at Suncoast.
Of 264 cases active in the Suncoast hospice over 210 days when Operation Restore Trust did their review, 176 were not eligible for hospice coverage and for 118 they were unable to conclusively determine their terminal illness. That's 44.69%!
Compare this to only 78 cases in San Diego in which 37 were ineligible and only 19 for which they were unable to determine terminal illness. 24%
Compare this also to Dallas with only 26 active cases in which 20 were not eligible, and only 2 for which "medical records... were insufficient to conclusively determine a life expectancy of 6 months or less, as required by Medicare. 7.69%
I have the .pdf files of each of the reports citing these numbers. I got them from the Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General's website.
I'm telling you, something is really fishy at Suncoast.

Too bad the judge was crooked! This is what's so scary about this situation. There are so many looney lawyers out there, but I always felt that the judicial system would work. This has opened my eyes to what kind of nightmare can result from biased, crooked judges that abuse their power. I hope the Floridians get rid of this guy next year, but I shudder to think of how many more Judge Greers are out there.

Nice work Kimmie7!
It would make me real happy to see Suncoast driven into the ground.

I would prefer to believe pc93 is of good heart.
Nonetheless, because I and most are not psychic, it is better to work from known quantities than hope that an unknown quantity isn't a threat.
"...who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men" ( a theme from a East Coast mystery radio show "The Fat Man" I listened to as a child). On the internet this is sage advise.
