That article was so slanted I had to tilt my head to read it!. Thanks for posting. It's good to keep up on what people are saying.

I hate to post such negative articles because it can cause discouragment.

But we do have a HELPER in overcoming obstacles like that.

I was watching the sermon at a televised Mass, the night before last. The priest said many memorable things, but two stuck in my mind..

• Satan would like us all to commit suicide. (I think he'd like us to murder each other, too.)
• Many people have given up a fight, right before they could have had a victory. (I'm saying this incorrectly, but I think you know what I mean).

I have a feeling that even after you would have done a perfect job of explaining what you know, her article would have been slanted to the pro-death side.

The Supreme Court of Florida has 7 justices. Felos could also be using them individually in his account of '11 times'. That would leave 4 times for Greer individually.

I am still glad you posted it. Overall it is better to know what the media is thinking and putting out there, both in the short and long term.

Out of curiosity, I was attempting to count the number of rulings in Terri's fight.

I began to notice that Greer was admitting to not reading a good deal of the material that was being handed to him. I was thinking of making a comment here to the effect of , "Is Greer blind or something? Is he depending too much on the verbiage of Felos and Schiavo?"

Right after deciding not to be "offensive" or "snide", I came across this.

August 14, 2001 – Attorney Anderson filed a motion requesting Judge Greer to remove himself from Terri's case revealing that,

because of severe eyesight problems, Judge Greer could not see
Terri's trial videotape and neurological scans.

Judge Greer denied the motion.No wonder Greer keeps ignoring evidence that is presented to him!!!!

Hmmmm, hope they don't get re-elected. I smell a campaign worth watching. Or should be anyway!

I'm trying to find out. So far I've only learned that Greer has bad eyesight.

I noticed somewhere last night that Schiavo settled out of court with another doctor as well. Wonder how much that one was?

Amazing that he is allowed to keep a job which involves so much reading.

I guess he's solved some of the problem by declining to read evidence.

Then again, I guess, he could try to get help under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Of course, he won't think of Terri as a candidate for such a program.

Almost all of these seven Supreme Court justices in Tallahassee were appointed by the late popular liberal Gov. Lawton Chiles (D). They are the ones who tried to enforce selective recounts in pro-Gore counties in December 2000, until blocked by the U.S. Supreme Court.

I'll probably be in and out today...just like every other day. Hope your hind end is not as painful as it has been. Amazing the little things we take for granted, isn't it? Like sitting without pain. (I've learned a bit about appreciating the small things in life the hard way.)
