I found exactly 40 selections on Yahoo. Well-known reporters and commentators are not covering this story. Politicians are as silent as church mice.

Lisa McPherson Lisa McPherson homepage
Lisa died needlessly at the hands of Scientology. Hubbard Tech produced the death of a young vibrant woman.

"Dr. David "D.O.A." Minkoff's Downtown Walk-In Clinic,
Could that be this guy?"
I think they are one and the same!

"Time is running out, and nothing concrete seems to be taking shape. This is a black eye for FL, all of America, and indeed the human race."
It is frustrating! Lots of potential leads in lots of directions.....no facts upon which to base her salvation. Drawing information together when it is so widely dispersed is difficult.
The hearing by Judge Greer is September 11....he has ordered the G tube removed before and the process was initiated. There was a space of time between the order and the day the tube was removed. It wasn't the next day. If memory serves me correctly and he follows his previous pattern, the date set (IF he sets a date) would permit the hearing with Judge Lazzara in the interim.
Personally, I think the best chance Terri has is for her team to employ and concentrate on the ADA or civil rights laws. Logical, reasonable and methodical presentation of the violation of the United States laws is probably the only thing that will work.
One thing is sure....whether Terri's life is spared, or not, we'd better retain this information and continue our work on it. The subject WILL come up again!

In case you guys are wondering, I've not lost interest. I'm at work (I work 2 days a week) and can't do as much. Friday is a really busy day for us. Got to get the Sunday edition out. I will be in full research/compilation mode tonight, and am planning on making an evening of it. Stocking up on coffee.....

You're amazing. The things you've pulled out are incredible. I wonder what all these names and key words and events put into a database would show.

Looks like Dr Ronald Cranford, one of the "expert" drs called by Felos to testify to Terri's PVS has had some experience in such things. Excerpted from a very good article posted by MarMema over
here -
...In a horrible deja vu, another disabled woman at the Center has been selected for the same fate. Twenty-year-old Christine Busalacchi's condition is improving: she waves, smiles, objects to having her teeth brushed, vocalizes to indicate TV preferences, and very much enjoys visits from young men. This is not enough for her father, who has visited her seldom in the past two years (and then sometimes accompanied by TV cameras) and. we are told, stands to inherit $51,000 from her estate. Pete Busalacchi does not have the "clear and convincing evidence" necessary to have her starved in Missouri, so he is trying to have her moved to Minnesota where the standard is less stringent.
Dr. Ronald Cranford, the euthanasia advocate who hopes to help Pete Busalacchi take care of Christine when she is brought to Minnesota, had a similar case in 1979. Sgt. David Mack was shot in the line of duty as a policeman, and Cranford diagnosed him as "definitely...in a persistent vegetative state...never [to] regain cognitive, sapient functioning...never [to] be aware of his condition." Twenty months after the shooting Mack woke up, and eventually regained nearly all his mental ability. When asked by a reporter how he felt, he spelled out on his letterboard, "Speechless!"
Someone should have mentioned David to him during his trial testimony.
Unfortunately for Christine, her father was eventually able to get permission to have her tube removed and she died years ago.

There is yet another post
here worth the read.

Wow!! I can see that right-to-death doctors would prefer to have the patients be killed quickly.
Then there'd be no untidy messes resulting from patients who "wake up," like Mack.
If Terri recovered now, a lot of people would look like callous fools (as they should).

Thank you, I just posted and bumped it.

I just might. :) Although I doubt I'd trust my own words, maybe just scripture. Wow, I can't even imagine what goes on inside such a creature's head.

This may sound silly, but I keep praying for Terri to get access to a phone and order a pizza. Hey, God does work miracles! I think that just symbolizes how desperate this struggle has become. Hope is in short supply just now, and I've been having to go to the Great Physician over and over not only for Terri and her family, but for myself.

For some Scientologists, pilgrimage has been fatal Carrie Slaughterbeck, 23, who was found dead in her Clearwater apartment in March 1997 after receiving nutritional counseling from a prominent Scientologist who sells Super Blue Green Algae a dietary supplement.
Carrie Slaughterbeck, Clearwater Police Report Green provided me with Carrie Slaughterbeck's date of birth and a phone number for her parents that live in Indiana. He also said that she was not under treatment for any illness although she has had bulimia for 10 years. She has seen doctors in the past for her bulimia but has not for over two years. Instead she has been in a "program". I asked for the name of the program but he would not answer. I then asked Green if there was a doctor or counselor in charge of the program so that we could check on Slaughterbeck's health. Green answered that the program she was on was devised by themselves. The two decided what foods she was to eat and so on.
