As much as I like Arnold, his movies are great I have seen them all. I even used to follow him when I was in high school and he was Mr, Olympian and on all of the body building magazines. but this guy is just another european socialist that is trying to pass himself off as a Republican. Unfortunately that is about a far right as you can be in that pathetic state and get elected to a high office. I would NEVER move to Kalifornia, not in a milion years. Heck, I am trying to find somplace besides IL to live because this state isn't much better than Kali.

"He will cut many of the socialist programs that are killing ReCallifornia"

I really would like to believe that, but I don't.

I'm thinking this RINO term is just bad english. Although, when I think of the RINO's sprouting on the East Coast such as Senators Arlen Spector, Olympia Snow, et al., I was generally happy that we called them RINO's more so because they are and will continue to be a thorn in Bush's side as far as joining the rest of the party on passing his programs.

But that's the US Senate. Entirely different animal. Now that I have a chance to vote democrat governor buffoonal disaster Davis out of office, I don't care if ARnold is a RINO...or whatever anyone wants to label him. I just want a man, and a strong man to lead this one sorry state and clean house.

ARnold at least is honest about who he is and what he believes in, no b.s. there. Republicans have a fabulous opportunity to win in California which will reinforce the appeal and favorable results we are looking for with Arnold at the helm.

And furthermore, Arnold's got sex appeal. He's got a platform more in sync with most Californian's as liberal as they are in this state.

Well, McClintock, looks pretty handsome too, especially when he wears his kilt....got to love it! Wish both could run as a twin team.

The basic choice is a question of winning or whining. Once in office, Arnold will move rightward. fratricidal infighting will result in a major disaster, Davis or his "Mini Me" Bustamonte.

There were plenty of commie wackos here before New Yorkers migrated in any numbers. It was mostly California natives who voted in the state's two meeskeit senators. It is the Caliban we fight.

But where does McClintock stands on both legal and illegal immigration?

McClintock would send Prop. 187 back to the courts. Arnie would continue the SOS that has wiped California out (leaving these millions of illegal alien pests alone). Many of us want them removed from the country using laws presently on the books, and are really upset about municipalities and pinhead New York rejects like William Bratton (current chief of the worthless LAPD) advocating for the loathsome border-hopping sponges.

Close the loophole of the gun shows? What loophole? The guns I buy at CA gunshows require more hassle than simply buying from a dealer!

...............help us if this is the only viable (Republican) candidate we have.

Only going to raise taxes in the event of a state emergency? What do you call when the current bozo in charge managed to lose $50 billion? Guess what, folks, he's going to raise your taxes. And your property taxes are too juicy to pass up.

You may be on to something here. I can't speak to the specifics of what you propose but if we had some sort of a flat tax that would ensure the illegals and welfare dependents would have to pay their fair share of taxes. They won't like that and would probably move elsewhere. There is no other way to avoid that.

I like this idea.

A wise woman. How do we get this idea to Tom and Arnold? Certainly, it's wasted on Cruz.

In the end, few bought [Betamax] because it never really caught on

I think it's too soon to concede McClintock's race. I think he's just getting started.

Imal said: "Since I live in Nevada, not California, I can't affect this vote like illegal immigrants can, so vote wisely. Because so help me, if you let Bustamente win this election, I swear I'll spit on your graves.

Just a minute now... Some have suggested that I have an obligation to stay here and fight. How is it then that you have no obligation to move here and fight.

I think the truth of the matter is that we are quickly becoming more than one nation. Whether this Civil War will be less bloody than our last is anybody's guess. But it won't be pretty. We will look very similar to the now fragmented and tormented Soviet Union.

If you lived in the South, you would think the North is a different nation; it seems a stretch to say that culturally we are one "NATION" under God. One country, but...

You can write or phone Tom's campaign team at the contact info below:

I'd bet they would be open to hearing your ideas. Are you in Southern CA? Tom is hosting a radio show today where you could also call in. The specifics are on the McClintock daily thread (you can also click on Rabid Republican's screen name- he hosts the thread).

Yes, but native Californian's tend to be more populist than communist. This bunch we have are all carpet baggers, except Feinstein. Davis is from Brooklyn, so is Barbara Boxer. Nancy Polosi is from New Jersey and Dan Burton is from Ohio.

The problem is, if Californians would take their politics as seriously as they do their front lawn, we would all be better off.

Let's see. Arnold says he's for Proposition 187, for allowing illegal aliens to stay here and for providing illegal aliens with free public educations.

Clinton must be in awe.

Apparently you think all "carpetbaggers" are from back east. There were more than a few "scalawags" among the "natives" before New Yorkers arrived. California has always had its wackiness, though today's wack jobs are emboldened by the media and politicians, who in a previous era would have laughed and walked away, rather than dignify the loonies "activism".

I just sent him an e-mail. I'll do the same for Arnold. I am in So Cal, but I'm way too busy to listen to talk radio, so that will have to do.

Most of them, yes. Especially the New York, "Boroughs's", like Davis. However, I can't dispute the drift of your post. California has its own, home grown, SOB's. I think you are definitely correct about the media. It has stifled sincere, honest debate with meaningless sound bites that confuse the issues, or worse, slants them toward the opinion editors of the LAT.
