She won't run. She knows her best try is 2008. Not if Rudy beats her in a Senate race in 2006

Dean was quoted a couple weeks ago as saying McAuliff should be removed as party chair, and that if he (Dean) won the nomination he'd "clean up" the Dem party. Wonder if that remark plus his rocketing up in the polls spurred this, since the Clintons can't afford to lose control of the party?I agree with you all the way...They (the Clintons) are scared to death of losing control of the party now...something they hadn't expected. This is why they wont wait for 2008 because they dont have time on their side now.
It will be interesting to see Dean and the witch fight it out.
Also, and I mean this, Dean had better have his life insurance and Will and Testament up to date.

Do you reallly think W's $300,000,000 is onbly intended to buy television time? Please, where's your sense of history? Politicians have always been up for sale. It's no different today; the prices are just higher.

You're right, I should have mentioned negative voter turnout. While the Mrs. and I plan on sitting out the next election (we voted for Keyes last time, then sat out the general), Hillary will bring us over to that little church where we're supposed to make our symbolic quadrannual gesture.

This means there will be no 2008 or 2012 for the witch, so she has to make her move now. She'll run now, but somehow wind up under Clark.
There are lots of Ds (I seem to be related to thousands of them) who want W's head and are insisting she run. She's just waiting for the last bit of math to make sure she & whomever have a good shot.
2004 races are going to be unreal and terrifying. I'm confident W will keep it, but I predict oceans of bloodshed between here and then.

A Hillary run will force the press to
deal with the forbidden questions. If the press will not bring them up, Dean will!
If there is no clear winner by March, it will be an all out war for the super-delegates, all the way to the convention.
To: kattracks
If she is running it MUST be in 2004, because a real good person like Guliani will run against her for the Senate and she would be in deep trouble trying to run in 2008 with no Senate seat.
Besides it is a double negative for her in 2008, Dean might other wise be the Dem candidate in 2004 and would be the one looked to in 2008. So she has to at least sabotage Dean if nothing else.

Hitlery will set the all-time, never to be broken, record for NEGATIVE VOTER TURNOUTCorrect. In my case I haven't voted for a (R) president for 3 terms now - all 3rd party - and before always (R). However, if she is the one & Hitler was the pubbie, she still couldn't get my vote. And I guarantee you that I could get at least 5 unregistered voters to vote against her. Her negatives will always be under 50%.

Interesting theory. As I see it, Clark is being pushed into the race only to counterbalance Dean except Clark is a sleaze with no charisma. (Dean is a sleaze with charisma.)
I dont believe the witch wants second place unless she plans to whack him so she can become president. I believe that as the picture is unfolding, we will be hearing less from Clark and more from the witch. We have to see if Clark suddenly fades and the witch comes to center stage. That will be our signal that she is going to run.

Oh please not another Bush. As much as I admire Jeb Bush & I think he would make a good president, I don't think the country would go for another Bush. Think of all the talk of a monarchy, the swing voters would rebel.

Also, and I mean this, Dean had better have his life insurance and Will and Testament up to date.Yea, I think the Vermonter might come down with a case of Arcancide. Maybe it's time to break out my tinfoil hat, but when I read Dean's remarks about McAuliff, I wondered if we'd see a sad, tragic plane crash or horrible traffic accident. The Clintons will attend Deans funeral and blame the evil VRWC.
To: kattracks
Hitlery hasn't got a lock on the Presidency herself.
To: kattracks
She keeps saying she's not going to run, so you know she is.
I wonder how she is going to steal Dean's $10,000,000 war chest?

The Clintoons are getting ready to make offer Dean and the others can't refuse.

As the Co-President for 8 years, she got much of what she wanted. As Vice President, she will do the same and not have to take the heat.

Where have the Clintons been since the blackout? With whom have they been associating? Anyone know?
To: Consort
Agreed. She's much more interested in indirect power. Plus, then the first-woman-president crowd has years to drive her to the POTUS, when she decides she wants it.
How come none of our NY FReepers got to her when the lights went out?!?!?!
