There's just way too much to comment on here.

So I'll just note that, once again, Ithaca is the City of Evil.

Kelly says her family is Irish Catholic, so she wasn't sure how they would react to her sexual orientation. "When I came out it was really scary. God love them - they all showed up at my wedding and they cried their eyes out [because] it was a ceremony of love and affection," she says. "It was no longer just about the general fears about things that are out there, it was about Maureen and Lisa."

Her family is not Irish Catholic. It is Irish apostate.

Apparently they chose to prioritize their perverted daughter's basest lusts over God and His truth.

They will eventually be held accountable for their failure to do the right thing.

"That's the big fat question mark right now. What does [our Canadian marriage ceremony] mean when we come [into the United States]?" Kelly says

Easy, Kelly. It doesn't mean dick!

"We hopped the border and got a little more class," Kelly says.

It's going to take more than border hopping to give this pair a little more class. I'd love to see their wedding photos. Who wore the wedding gown, and who wore the flannel shirt and steel toed work boots?

Irish Catholic family my ass...

According to Maureen Kelly, the setting in which she recently got married was "slightly cheesy."

A diet rich in yogurt can solve that sapphic bane - Candida albicans.

In a more serious vein; just what does this woman think will happen if she filled out a tax form or other government form, checks that they are married, and then for whatever reason ends up in front of a judge trying to explain why she checked "married"? Does she really think that there's any confusion as to whether or not they are married?

Canada would save effort checking them through at the border if they just annexed Ithaca. We could send in the 10th Mtn to make it happen.

I liked CORNELL PROFESSOR Cynthia McKinney going North. I just don't think she went far enough.

Traveled to Canada to get married but will stay in the US for the divorce (probably?), just like the male gay couple from TX who traveled to VT to get married. After a month, they filed for divorce in TX because getting a divorce in VT would take too long and be more expensive. TX Attorney General said the state doesn't recognize gay unions. So the couple sued. About 8 months later Canada recognizes gay unions followed by SCOTUS ruling knocking down states rights that didn't recognize queer unions. Wonder what the hidden agenda is for these two queers?

"That's the big fat question mark right now. What does that mean when we come in?" Kelly says. "We just kind of need to make the choice to act 'as if'." From now on, she says, she will check "married" in legal and other documentation. "That's how we slowly chip away at some of the inequity that treats us as separate and not quite equal," she says

If their marriage is not legally recognized in the US, then flouting the law by admitting she aims to fraudulantly claim marriage on legal forms to "chip away" is an example of the contempt given to our current legal system.

What this whole "Gay Marriage" thing is about is:

1. Loot (marriage carries legal and financial benefits, except for taxes).

2. Approval. More than #1 these queer folks want the rest of us to shout out loud that it's OK to be queer.

It ain't OK to be queer. It's unnatural. At best it's sort of pathetic.

If the ceremony (God forbid) took place in St. Peter's Basilica it would still be cheesy.

If I were one of those looking on such a travesty, I would want to go home and take a bath.
