In a more serious vein; just what does this woman think will happen if she filled out a tax form or other government form, checks that they are married, and then for whatever reason ends up in front of a judge trying to explain why she checked "married"? Does she really think that there's any confusion as to whether or not they are married?

Really, fill out the wrong federal form incorrectly, even as an accident, and you're up for a long visit to a low-grade federal housing project.
