In Sacramento, Torres said, Taco Bell sells beef tacos for 74 cents and chicken tacos for $1.50.

Fitting. If you elect a Rat it is ALWAYS going to cost you more.

Of course it's rigged. Taco Bell knew it's regular sales numbers before it began and so had a predictable outcome already.

What annoys me is that I like soft chicken Taco's, and can't get one without voting for Davis.

It makes perfect sense. If you wish to pay more[in taxes] you vote for the dem.

Unbelievable!!

Ideally, the Democrats should ignore Taco Bell's publicity stunt.

If the Democrats felt forced to respond, they should have said, "Taco Bell has a clever marketing campaign. We hope they sell lots of tacos, burritos and chalupas."

Unhappy with the mock poll results, the chairman of the California Democratic Party, former state Sen. Art Torres said yesterday that “Taco Bell should stick to making tacos, not rigging elections.”

However, it is acceptable for the LA Slimes to do push polls favoring the Democrats.

Perhaps Taco Bell could release their sales figures before they started the "poll". If sales pre poll were even it would indicate balance. Anybody who takes such a poll seriously is stupid, not only dems.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

Personally, I think of Ahnold voters as good, old-fashioned red meat and potatoes guys. The type of strapping manly-men who would amuse themselves by p------ on the stupid, little Taco Dog.

I most whole-heartedly do not concur with Nutjob Bob Mullholland whose tin foil pyramid hat must be getting awful hot and itchy in the August sun.

Bob Mulholland, campaign advisor for the California Democratic Party, says the Taco Poll is also “an investment scam to benefit Schwarzenegger.”

An investment scam?!!?

And he wonders why the Dems are being recalled for their hairbrained economic ideas.

Apparently the democrats think that the Taco Bell is going to the final arbitor of the election. These people really have gone clinically insane.

Granted, while the best thing would have been to ignore this "poll" entirely, the one guy who cited the cost (as well as people's personal preferences", has a point.

Where they went off the deep end for me, was the statement that this was an investment scheme to enrich Arnold further.

On a side note, I wonder how Warren Buffet (a huge Coke owner) feels about Arnold's Pepsico investment?

I agree 100%. How much has Davis cost the state (taxpayers)? Arnold has got to be a bargain compared to Davis.
