I wish they'd make a movie where the teacher sucks and nobody learns anything

Moviegoers generally seek to escape reality, not watch it.

It's evil, I tell you, evil! Like his telling Howard Jarvis 25 years ago what a supporter of his tax cuts he was -- just poll-driven ambition! Run away!

Yours for glorious defeat,
Dan

I was going to go with "Clueless", "Chalk" (1997... really bad comedy)", and "Fast Times at Ridgemont High"

Jaime Escelante clearly prefers Arnold's approach to Bustamnete. Will def. bring in Hispanic voters who value education instead of Mexifornia

That is exactly what I was thinking, this is a huge endorsement in the Latino community half of which are already voting/trending towards the GOP.

Hurrah for Arnold. But is it breaking news every time Arnold hires an adviser to his campaign? He has Schultz, Buffett, Rob Lowe, Jaime Escalante, yada, yada, yada.

I am sure that when he hires his tube sock czar, and his adviser for pencil sharpener maintenance we will get in breaking news as well.

I am not bashing Arnold here. I most likely will vote for him. But McClintock is not getting a fair shake. Arnold, the celebrity, is meaninglessly attaching other "celebrities" to his campaign, and getting massive news coverage, as well as breaking news posts here, for really doing nothing. He has not given one solid proposal on how he is going to do anything, less you consider his audit idea an actual plan.

Arnold or Cruz most likely will win, so if McClintock is dead in the water near the end, Arnold will have my vote. But, for a guy who has never held office, and hasn't come up with a plan to do anything, and is a Kennedy, aren't we getting a wee bit too much starstruck here?

Warren Buffett advising Arnold is breaking news. Markets move on the RUMOURS of his 30 billion dollars and trades..

But is Arnold hiring as a consultant a guy made famous by an actor playing him in a movie 20 years ago breaking news.
I think Escalante is a great guy mind you. I am just curious as to why you felt the need to put this in breaking news. Jaime Escalante giving the Terminator pointers is not going to move the stock market much.

President Bush and virtually the entire GOP establishment --including the most conservative -- have endorsed Arnold, so that's good enough for me.
