You can not only get an abortion, but you can feel good about yourself while you do it. A group of abortion clinic operators calling themselves the "November Gang" is encouraging their customers to write little valentines on pink paper hearts to the babies they've killed.

I notice there is no advice on birth control beforehands, or warnings on the greatly increased chances of sterility from having more than 1 abortion.

"I smile when I think of you, even if I cry. You have given me reason to be strong and wise and responsible. You will always be my baby. I will see you in heaven, sweetheart. Love you! Love always and unconditionally, your mommy."

"Responsible" RESPONSIBLE??? My God, words fail me.

"YOUR MOMMY" (who killed you). This is absolutely revolting.

Perhaps women can understand the other thread "The Marriage Strike: Why Men Won't Commit". Most American women should be committed. Most of my friends have no interest in American women, preferring foreign-born women or Americans of Indian or Asian descent...cultures which still have values.

Glamour finds it "poignant" that one woman wrote to her victim: "To my little angel, Please understand that you are better off in the hands of God than mine at this moment." (This is hard to debate.) "I smile when I think of you, even if I cry. You have given me reason to be strong and wise and responsible. You will always be my baby. I will see you in heaven, sweetheart. Love you! Love always and unconditionally, your mommy."

I doubt female self obsession gets any worse than this.

Another thing I've noticed, blacks do not patronize PPH in our community.

Yep. Black women have far fewer abortions than white women Blacks also oppose "gay" marriage at the highest rate of any group; they also support school vouchers overhwhelmingly; prayer in schools overwhelmingly. SO why on earth do they vote Democrat???

getting rid of that damnable TV set

In our home, the TV still has something of a central position in the living room (along with the table for homeschooling and the PC), but we don't have cable, satellite, or broadcast. The TV is used exclusively for videos (Wind in the Willows, last night) and the occassional Playstation game. There are many ways to skin the pop culture cat.

There just isn't anything clean anymore>>>

Yes, it's disheartening, seems the agenda of the liberals and the left are into everything these days. Did you know that many vaccines/immunizations for children are derived from aborted fetal tissue lines? Many drug companies support this.
http://www.cogforlife.org/
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/969040/posts

and then there is this:
A pro-homosexual group calling itself the Human Rights Campaign http://www.hrc.org/congress/votrecrd.asp has cited 21 corporations for the special attention they give to "homosexual, bisexual and transgender" employees and customers.

The top homosexual activism-supporting companies were: Bank One Corp., Capital One Financial Corp., Hewlett-Packard Co., IBM Corp., Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., Levi Strauss & Co., MetLife Inc., PG&E Corp., Prudential Financial Inc., and S.C. Johnson & Son Co., while Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores (the cheese manufacturer), Emerson Electric Co. and Lockheed Martin Corp. were cited for "major improvements."

The five lowest-scoring companies (meaning the ones showing the least interest in promoting homosexuality) were Aramark Corp., Domino's Inc., ExxonMobil Corp., Meijer Inc. and National Gypsum Co.
http://edition.cnn.com/2003/US/08/25/benefits.gays

And now big brothers/sisters are allowing homosexuals into the fold. http://www.alliancedefensefund.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=index

I did some disgusting research this past weekend, and rented the "American Pie" series so popular among teens. I really wanted some insight, but ended up just feeling sick.

I think I'd want to abort myself if I watched any of that vomitous filth. Notice how they put the word "American" on the most vile movies--American Pie, American Beauty--that's not done by accident. It's a slap in the face to the country that they despise.

My employer shares an office building with Planned Parent Hood. I watch all those kids come and go all day long. (Some on bicycles). Just breaks my heart. Another thing I've noticed, blacks do not patronize PPH in our community.

We have an abortuary a few blocks from our house. I pass it every day on my way to work. Every girl/woman I see going in there is black. There's even a bus stop right in front of the place (this is in the suburbs, so yes, it's unusual).

On the good side, there's a man who's out there every morning standing at the driveway trying to convince those going in not to murder their children. He's even successful occasionally.

>>> Notice how they put the word "American" on the most vile movies...It's a slap in the face to the country that they despise. <<<

Not to mention a predatory assault on children.
The sexualization of children all the way from fashions to movies to internet availability in libraries , etc.
has resulted in a numbing acceptance of abortion as the natural, no consequence alternative.

"American Wedding", the latest American Pie sequel
actually ends with an assertion that it's all been just
"perfectly normal."

You described it much better:
"vomitous filth"

No wonder the suicide rate is so high among women who've had abortions.

I'd bet if you took a look at the mother and spent time around her, you'd see WHY the daughter is the way she is. It is the PARENTS that set the tone.

Hmmm Jesus had some harsh words to say about harming little ones, let alone picking a date for their murder because it was inconvenient and they "got caught".

Luke 17:2-4

[2] It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

[3] Take heed to yourselves: if thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and IF he repent, forgive him.

[4] And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I REPENT; thou shalt forgive him.

Hmmm supposed to REPENT after doing something wrong and THEN forgivness will be extended. I suspect there is not alot of REPENTENCE going on here so there will be NO forgiveness.

Most "christians" believe you will be forgiven for anything without repentence.

"Trying to justify killing their unborn will haunt these women for the rest of their lives."

That is a fact for those that sober up and realize what they've done. It will haunt them till the day they die.

Repentance is possible but unlikely in this sad case. I had a friend who was convinced to kill her baby and she is truly repentant and is actively prolife. God works miracles.

A real barf alert, here. Truly, physically nauseating. Forgive them Lord, they know not what they do.

Well said, Frank_Discussion. I'm rendered speechless by this one...

For example, the Tribune told the story of Julia Baugher, who writes a sex-advice column for the Hoya, the student newspaper at Jesuit-run Georgetown University.

I could never understand why anyone, except maybe a virgin, would need advice about sex.

"Sex is exciting, abstinence is boring." Thus the view from Tinseltown in the 21st Century.

Well, generally speaking, it IS true.
