Afghanistan is no longer a haven for terrorists. NATO is taking a leading role in keeping Afghanistan secure. Girls are going to school...in a nutshell, Afghanistan ain't Disneyland, but its a hell of a lot better place than it was two years ago.

I have the exact same reaction you have to the President's speech. Let's put it this way -- I don't have a warm fuzzy that everything is okay.
