Yes, the boat comment surprised me too. I was under the same understanding on that issue as you are. I can believe that Laci maybe had some concerns about his spending but I still DO NOT believe she knew about the boat. I even recall her family making a comment that the boat was news to them.

I somehow don't think it will be Jackie. I'm sure that I recall Girolami refusing to extend it any further. Geragos asked for that the last time they were in court.

The one thing that the Autopsy report put to rest tho is that Laci was dismembered. I NEVER once bought that theory. The uneven way that he limbs separated were not consitent with dismemberment. Also, the info today about where the head separated, FULLY put the rest that she was beheaded!! Nice try Geragos. The poor clue just can't offer a thing cannot be shot to bits.!!

KOVR13, Sacramento, just reported that according to papers filed in court late Thursday, both the prosecution and defense have agreed to drop charges against each other regarding violations of the gag order. Newsreader stated that it was so they could move forward with the prelim. Also stated Girolami will set the issue aside for the time being.

Firstly, on September 2nd only a few days away, he MUST make a showing of proof of evidence of another theory.

'Splain, please, ma'am.

"The more circumstances you have to point to guilt, the more ridiculous the defense story has to become."

Ain't THAT the truth????

are they getting civil now? My, and Geragos must be sweating on how to present his case as good as he can to convince the judge, there is no evidence to charge scaughty of killing Laci and Conner, therefore indicating another murderer of Laci and Conner exists!...... This will be interesting that day! ;o)

Labor Day weekend here, and I am up to the Yuba River for a day or so... Have nice weekend, but hope to check in a few before the weekend is up! ;o)

I'm so glad to hear you're ok. I did a search the other day on Kelowna and it's surroundings after our chat. Such a beautiful place..........how awful to have any part of it destroyed.
Looking at some of the pictures takes my breath away. Seeing it in person has to be terrifying.
Stay safe!

I believe Canadian Outrage is referring to this hearing:

http://www.modbee.com/local/story/7311242p-8235908c.html

"Distaso also noted in the filing that prosecutors are requesting information from the defense, including the names and addresses of potential witnesses and any real evidence the defense intends to offer at the preliminary hearing, set for Sept. 9.

At a DEFENSE REQUEST (my emphasis), a hearing on evidentiary issues is scheduled for Sept. 2."

Interesting isn't it that a mere few days after the defense views the body that People Magazine has the inside skinny on the defense perspective. Things that make you go...hmmmmmm.

I do wonder who the "family friend" is in this instance. We'll find out soon enough, I suppose.

248 homes!! That is really horrible!!! I know some wildfires start naturally through lightning, etc., but now I can see why we used to have those constant ads warning us to be careful with fire!! We need to have those again!

I'm glad you were lucky and had a lake between you and all that (not that a lake would guarantee protection!) I can't even imagine the plight of those poor people who lost everything.

Thanks! Makes sense, since all that stuff about the gag order will soon be moot anyway, for the most part!
