The entire staff at 1380 KTKZ has been concerned with Cruz Bustamante's seemingly 'double speak' when it comes to English and Spanish public statements.

Tonight, Fox News has released a concerning story about such a concern. Is Cruz saying one thing in English and another in Spanish? Is he offering two different messages and promises? Due to the media being too busy to record and translate, KTKZ is trying to provide this perspective of reporting in the near future.

I personally believe that Bustamante is saying two different things to two different audiences in California - one legal residence and the other illegal residence!

Agreed. McClintock should withdraw and give his support to the only viable Republican candidate. I know, I will get slammed and berated for saying that, but let's be realistic. Bustamante is almost a shoo-in at the current pace of events. How is California better off for that?

Arnold controls his own destiny. McClintock can't hurt him--he can only hurt himself.

If he's stubborn and stays to the liberal side of the ledger, he will forfeit the support of the conservative base and lose.

The only positive for Cruz is that he looks like a Saint when you stand him next to Arnold's moral fiber. One good thing about Arnold, he is showing how the moderate wing of the Republican party is as phony as any Clinton supporters.

If this happens... See a repeat of Davis-Simon. Only this time it will be Bustamante-McClintock. We all know who came out on the winning end the last time and that brought us the recall now. I don't think Californians would go for another recall. It's too much of a circus now. If you want a true Conservative in there, that is wishful thinking. The closest you will get is a Liberal-Republican. That is Arnold. Reagan will not return to California, never. Perhaps California is lost and we should just write it off... One of these days, Florida will be like California... Too many Liberal Dems and not enough Conservative balance. At that point, the electoral college is blown to bits. Then we end up like Canada, where a small geographic area of the country controls the rest of the Nation. I say any electable Republican is good for now, then work on the Conservative angle after that. Besides, a Republican governor for Cali can help give that state to Bush in the next presidential election.

Bustamante is part of a blatantly racist organization. He has about as much moral fiber as KKK Byrd and Manslaughter Kennedy. I think Arnold has just led a life of excess. Key word being has.

You sound like a proud member of the "we can't get enough votes to convict him, so let's roll over for Bill Clinton" Republican senators during impeachment. Here's a radical thought. How about letting McClintock roll out a couple of TV ads, participate in a debate or two, and then see what the polls say before you start shoveling dirt on him? I know, call me crazy.

I won't call you crazy... McClintock has risen in many of the polls as of late... However, I still think that what you suggest will never happen and that limited time is working against everyone, including Arnold. One person suggested it earlier, if Arnold would just make a solid "NO NEW TAXES" pledge, he might be in.
