I know there were accusations thrown at him. His behaviour seemed to imply alot, doesn't he have a girlfriend also?

Yes he he currently cohabitating with his girlfriend and has a child with her.
The parents accuse him of strangling her in the first place and are trying to prevent him from finishing the job.
