I agree with point 1 and 3. But, FTH knows the the southern poverty law center. So I'm not 100% sure about them.

Thought I should mention the quotes I posted today were excerpts from "Original Intent" by David Barton, in case anyone wants to read it. I recommend it.
Good night everyone!

I talked to my aunt today; my snake-bit cousin is in Vegas now. Flew with wrap on her leg. LOL!

In the past four weeks she has been to Aspen, Buenos Aries, and is in Vegas. Not uncommon for her to go this much.

I told my aunt it's hard to believe the snake found her at home.

Oh, what a sweet vignette of Daisy!

I know it has been a long day for you. Thank you for the thread today, and for all you do every day.

Good night and sweet dreams.

Yes! I was meaning to say so. *however* I am posting my first Freeper's Finest thread tomorrow on my very own, and I've been on a crash course in computer graphics these past two weeks. plus very busy at work. So they're scheduled to be viewed this weekend! Eagerly.

The closest match I found for that snake I saw was a Northern Copperhead. So I might have been in TROUBLE if it had gotten me rather than that toad!

Did you send her the link to the Nevada review Mama_Bear did?

I hope very late in the thread, and so with total politeness, I should note that while I am with the program to put the 10 Commandments absolutely everywhere, I also believe in the rule of law. And for a judge to disobey a court order -- well, I don't think Christianity requires it. Render under Caesar that which is Caesar's. Our fate does not depend on -- it transcends and is greater than -- the secular power of the state. I can't say I approve of disobeying the court order here. But I certainly approve of the sentiment.

Yes, what Mama_Bear said: thank you for the thread and for all that you do. I *do* admire your activism on this. And it was absolutely special to get a front-line look at things. Plus you did the thread too!! Just amazing, Aqua.

Sigh, big shoes to fill tomorrow! LOL, why couldn't we have had The Thin Man or someone guest host today instead?? It's like being a comic and following after Bill Cosby. Well, sigh, we all do what we can, and I really can't help it if tomorrow's thread is going to be a *disaster.* :)

And Caesar's wife, Calpurnia, thanks you! :))

I recognize the existence of solid counterarguments to my position. I kinda waited until the very end of the day to say it. And I really *do* admire Aqua for going out there, I'm not saying it's not great that people aren't out in front of the courthouse. But disagreeing with a court order is one thing and defying it is the other. Christ generally complied with Roman law -- even to drink from the bitter cup.

I'm not flaming you. I am a big law abider (I don't even break the law of gravity). Unfortunately though, our laws have gotten influenced from, well, I guess you can technically call it terrorist attacks. Generously filtered from the NGOs, UN, et al. I see the most powerful defense of them is from the same mode of attack. Like the Roman's did. They were successful for so long by copying an enemy's offense. The ACLU and similar ilk wouldn't have so much power if they were countered in ever one of their moves. We, the right, need a full time legal offense.

I understand. I'm not against a legal offense either. We agree on much. I just think that once the court has ruled . . . .

To all of you, I wish you a good night's sleep, rest your eyes, wear dark glasses tomorrow - maybe some old paint clothes might not be a bad idea either. :)
