2. Treat your partner with at least as much grace as you would treat a stranger; say "please", "thank you", and "excuse me"...it makes a big difference.

Believe it or not, I sometimes meet people who could benefit from good advice. I know where to send them. ;-)
Well, actually, you and I are friends and I think you are an unusually thoughtful guy - and you surely aren't learning anything from my ramblings - so I have no doubt that the woman in your life is perfectly content. (Don't argue with me. LOL)
