With that logic we would still belong to Great Britain.

The Alabama Constitution actually does say, "invoking the favor and guidance of Almighty God." I've read it.

Let's say you take an oath to uphold the Alabama Constitution. How would you uphold that part?

Sorry xzins, it's late. Can you find exactly where the Al Constitution has that phrase? I just tried searching and came up empty handed.

Roy Moore took a vow to uphold the laws in Alabama.

The Preamble is not the law, it is an introduction to the law, the Constitution of Alabama.

You didn't answer my question. How many laws from the 10 Commandments are our laws based upon? Either federal or state.
