When was the last time you went to the grocery store? Fill your cart up with junk food and easy to prepare items and your bill will be much less than if you tried to fill it fresh fruits & vegatables and meat. More bang for the buck

I kind of noticed that. I also noticed I can't go shopping just once a week. The stuff doesn't stay fresh.
The last time I went to the grocery store, I was refilling the vegetable bin. My salad supplies were running low. I had premade mixed salad, low-fat croutans, grapes, rasberrys, juices, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and baby carrots. The bill was 70 dollars.
Since I had the angioplasy, I don't eat crackers, cake, chips, cookies or donuts. The only junk food I eat is the occasional M&M's.

Shop around the OUTSIDE of the store, where the real food is. Avoid the sugar aisles like the plague. They run up the center of the store, and contain the baking stuff, candy, and cereals; all stuff your body was designed to have only tiny, occasional servings of.
