Why? He's just as dead either way and this way is much cheaper. He probably asked for it by trying to do to a fellow prisoner what he had been doing to young boys.

Why ? Because the convicts are as likely to rape and sodomize you as him. When the prison culture is unopposed it spreads. It becomes cool. People even joke about it and then it becomes an expected rite of passage. The weak and innocent suffer as much as the weak and guilty.

For example you could be protesting at a rally in any one of hundreds of American cities and find yourself locked up among animals. Who will care what happens to you if prison justice is expected, tolerated, or cheered ?

Then I guess I'd better do what I can to stay out of prison. Country club prisons aren't doing much to deter crime --- maybe there is some pedophile out there paying attention and will quit their crimes. Or seek castration or something to avoid suffering the same fate. This pathetic individual showed no compassion in all his life, he used his position to rape boys.

I agree.There must be a rule of law and rape, violence and murder in prison cannot be condoned.I will shed my tears for Geogan's victims,however.(I'm as guilty as anyone of wishing pain on a child molester or murderer.These are human reactions..but following through is not lawful.)

That is quite true of most prison environs in this country. Not that I'm too choked up over this one....molesters (Chesters) get booked in the joint all the time...but I would hesitate calling all inmate murders a good thing. There are a lot of milquetoast non-violent prisoners tossed in with the sharks and they don't deserve death or rape. I would elaborate on who does most of the raping in the joint from what I know but the AMs don't much care for that kind of truth telling....it's not terribly diverse.
