I have a hard time believing that 'Mister N-word' is considered a viable candidate.
Show me where in the media Mister Bustamante has been outed on his "slip of the tongue" . If the people don't know about it it doesn't mean much does it.and as jesse says they will give him a pass..... As for him being a viable canndidate, maybe you should follow the polls more closely and listen to the Latinos...it will all boil down to who comes out to vote...as always...do people come out to vote for or against something? Davis was the worst POS ever in California but he got reelected..why? How important is name recognition? How many people vote strictly d or r or for someone they relate to such as a hispanic name or movie actor?

...maybe you should follow the polls more closely and listen to the LatinosAnd listen to latino radio & TV. Often the view of the news in those venues is quite different from what the rest of us read and hear. I learned that from having a South American, mostly Spanish speaking, woman working for me. Her interpretation of news stories on Spanich radio was sometimes at direct odds with what we heard on English radio.
