Cannoneer - thanks for the ping. It said the trannie "was blown" but all it needed was some oil? Maybe the oil leaked out while it was on it side?
I don't know what they teach young MP's nowadays about vehicle maintenance. I know we never went out the motor pool gate without a bustle rack full of cans of various weights of oil, cherry juice, apple juice, squelch juice and any other fluid that was subject to leak out.
