I thought the recall numbers had been tracking between 58-50% within margin of error for months?

More likley, Bad poll.

Voters in favor of recall is now down to 50%.. Bad news. It depends on who does the poll. A recent "field poll" had the Democrat winning. It didn't say who did it, who was asked, or where the poll was taken.
"Out of a group of 10 illegal aliens in California, Democrats are ahead in the race for California by 99 %. Our poll shows Republicans at 1%. Unfortunatly, this poll cannot be verified. 1% of those questioned has died under suspicious cirumstances."

Don't believe it. That number is from an LA Times poll, and the LA Times is a left-wing publication.

Don't believe that for a minute. This is the old tried and true Leftist tastic-- they don't reflect opinion, they try to shape opinion. Don't believe the polls!

That is an LA Slimes poll....the same ones who asked me about my strong support for Pres Bush..."Do you still strongly support President Bush even though there is not a prescription drug benefit for the elderly and some of them have to choose between food and medicine?"
I am not kidding, they actually asked that. A caller on Mark Williams show the other night had just gotten off the phone from being polled for this survey and the questions were much the same variety. So 50 = more like 60 is my guess, if not more.

That's the Democrats coming home...they are an outright majority in California (with most of the Independents, and other parties like the Greens, leaning leftward). This is to be expected...either Bustamante or Davis will get most of them anyway (Perhaps the RAT establishment is quailing at Bustamante).
That is why you MUST have a Republican that will draw votes from wishy-washy nominal Democrats. That's why you need the celebrity factor. Whoever wins MUST have a fair chunk of Democrat votes, that's a mathematical fact in California.

That's from the L.A. Times. The problem is, the question that was posed was this: Do you support the recall if it means that you will be arrested if you say "yes?"

Yeah, but how many decidedly against it? I would guess
much less than 50%. So the recall still wins, no?
