Most of the people on this forum would gladly watch McClintock sworn in on the capital steps. What I can't understand is why you would rather see BustAzltante voted in over Schwarzenegger. That's what all your negativism is going to gain you if you get your way.

As much as I'd like to see it, McClintock simply isn't going to garner the votes you want him to. The only alternative for you, is Bustamove in office for as long as 12.5 years.

If Schwarzenegger pulls out, McClintock will NOT get all his votes. People are registering just for the sole purpose of voting for Schwarzenegger. Do you think they and the democrats he is pulling over are going to vote for McClintock?

You need to think about this a lot more.

The mainstream Conservatives, yes, the RINOs, no.

If you've read any of my posts analyzing the track record of RINO Governors, their devastating effects upon their states and parties, then you fully understand. Busty will be a horrible Governor but will have a viable GOP opposing him, Ah-nold will be a horrible Governor and cause the GOP to split and become that much more irrelevant. You tell me which is worse ? Some of us are well-versed on history. Ah-nold's a "Cotton Whig" and folks like him are the reason why the old Whig Party disintegrated, because they couldn't differentiate themselves from the 'Rats. Sound familiar ? But I guess erudite historical analysis in this thread is going to fly over so many heads of people spewing factually vacant propaganda in their quest to get an old Cotton Whig elected.
