When I think of the valley, I think Burbank to Topanga Canyon Boulevard, from the edge of the mountains south of the 101 to the 118 edge of the mountains north of the 118. Funny, I think of Chatsworth...heheh.

In the interest of full disclosure, that first paragraph was a quote I forgot to italicize. Please see the "to:" link for reference. My mistake.

"As you sit on the deck Ti(McClintock)tanic, playing your chello, please remind us how happy you are that you didn't get a spot in one of the lifeboats. Sometimes our first choices are untenible."
The Cotton Whig dinghy has holes in it.

This trashing of Arnold isn't doing anyone a lick of good. You've got me on your side until it become obvious your guy can't win. What's the point of trashing the only person who could stop BustaMecha if it comes to that? You're doing the DU's work for it and haven't a clue you're doing it. Well said. Put it in bold type and staple it to their foreheads.

Nice to meet you too summer. My point was someone that wants information about politics can have advisers, polls, and talk to the people, kind like what you are doing..if you look for information, don't you think Arnold is too? In California, the tripling of the car tax is just about the straw that broke the camel's back..people in Califonia have a love affair with their cars..just look at the crowded freeways, smog and little use of mass transit..I am certain Arnold is well aware of the car tax and how most people (other than Arianna) feel about it....
I myself have taken the time to talk to people fom all walks of life, particularly those more liberal than myself to get a feel for what they are thinking about each upcoming election. I talk to people of many different backgrounds, economically and ethnically. Reading & posting here gives some information, it is of course a biased usually conservative group, thus I search elswhere to be informed about "the enemy". I would love nothing better than to have a real conservative Governor (and Legislature and Senators)but the reality is the state's two large population areas, San Francisco and L.A. have tons of liberals, while much of the rest of the state is conservative...With 40% hispanic population it is a real possibility that Butamante could get elected as head cheese. He would be IMO a disaster, he was firmly against prop 187. and member of Mecha...take a look below and see what Atzlan is about. Of course Arnold has not yet revealed his stand on 187 and it may be political suicide for him to do so...but at least I think he will be neutral compared to Bustamante...

As you well know, Doctor, "timing is everything."
I am of the opinion that the Dems have an 18-wheeler truckload of "sludge" on Arnold.
Davis is a gutter-politician.
When the timing is optimum (Labor Day weekend), the sludge will fall.
Wear rain-gear.

Folks, quit hawking things that slam Schwarzenegger. And why not? He said illegals should get free schooling at our expense, is against Prop. 54, and wants to raise our taxes. A physically fit version of Bustamante?
I wouldn't spend my time defending Schwarzenegger so much if you folks would pump up the man I actually desire to win this election.
If McClintock's views are superior, and I believe they are, why don't you hawk those around the forum rather than trash Arnold?
I have advocated the support of McClintock until around the 15th of September to see if his numbers would solidify. Sadly, all I see from his camp it trash thrown at A.S. What's the point. You've got my vote. Go win others by providing the facts of McClintock's platform.
As for A.S. only being a physically fit version of BustAztlante, I guess you think A.S. is racist separatist. Interesting.

It is considered cowardly to refer to somebody in a post but not ping them to the post.

You misunderstood.
A good businessman rolls with the punches, believes in serendipidity, takes his gains where he can, and always finds a way to come back for another day.He makes the best of what hand he has been dealt and then attempts to maximize his opportunities.Taking the pessimists' way out by moaning about how "not good enough" the situation is to even attempt to try to see the benefits, is the sign of a failure in life. So, that is why I asked you if you have ever made any money or been in business?Resiliency, perserverance, courage, optimism and pragmatism get you far, and they also apply to politics as well.
Arnie is the only chance for those who are optimists, and optimists set the agenda.
