If the press "cared" about the Iraqi people, they wouldn't attack their liberators daily [rant]

Amb. Bremer faced a sea of self-righteous press accusers again this morning. They still clearly haven't bothered to do their homework. They exhibit a shocking daily indifference to the years of physical, mental and spiritual abuse and genocide suffered by the Iraqi people. They seem to have no concept of time, no patience, no sense - expecting insta-nation with insta-happy people after over 30 years of neglect and oppression. They look at brave, compassionate men and women working and DOING daily and see 'evildoer-military'. They look at well-dressed, sensible-sounding, powerful TALKERS, who spend most of their time accusing the DOERS, and see saviors.
Any idiot can criticize. This press has crossed the line. If they look at our honorable military and see the enemy, they are my enemy.

I won't make any excuses for the leftist, America-hating swine. They are the enemies of peace and democracy.

Big Bump to your rant, RC!

Thanks, windchime. I feel like I dumped mud on FR with this post, and dragged others into a 'quagmire', lol.
As an antedote (and in case anyone from the mainstream press stumbles onto this post), one more time for our best and brightest:
Y A note of thanks to those who serve

"....we want the world to know that Nadan was a naturalized US citizen, a veteran of the US Navy, and a courageous Assyrian Christian who answered the military call to go to Iraq as a translator."
Thank you for sharing the story of the loss of Nadan Yonadam while he was serving the US and the people of Iraq. I pray that his family and friends are comforted in knowing that his efforts and sacrifice contributed to freedom for the Iraqi people.

Don't think of it as mud.....think of it as insta-pudding.:) Makes a much tastier 'quagmire'.
I liked and agreed with your rant. Usually, I just yell stuff at the TV that would get me banned (and embarrassed) here on FR.

Not news. Simply a place to comment on the press treatment of the troops and the war effort. In general....DISGUSTING! They dwell on the negative and ignore the positive.
Thankfully, the positive can be found here at FR......and sent out in mass e-mails. :-)
