What? Your cousin is a bird :O

As a matter of fact, yes. At the moment they're in Argentina.

I understand the poison stays in the system for a while. She was in bad shape for the first 3 or 4 days.

It wasn't around water. There's a creek on the back of their property beyond a "barn" where the cats and dogs sleep at night. The snake was between their house and the barn, at least 100 yards or more from the creek. That's what's scary. It was clsoer to the pool than to the creek.

I don't know how big it was or how they know what kind it was or how dark it was. All this was in Friendswood, between Houston and Galveston--not out in a wilderness. It gives me chill bumps!

I lived in rural NC for years. We did a volunteer medical tour there. We saw alot of wildlife then. But NC had a large resource for looking up the wildlife. That is why I went nuts teaching my kids everything about wildlife. Now, I can't even find a picture of the NE's reptiles. That snake I saw wasn't in the field guide I had.

I miss alot about NC. Even Florida for the short stint we were on tour there.

So what does this mean?

She is a pilot?
